-SUMMER TIME- SONG

Last year (Year 1, Primary Education) we performed two plays, "The Gruffalo" and "Pretty Ritty".
This year we are going to do a song and a dance performance at the end of the academic course (Year 2, Primary Education).
The title of the song is -Summer Time-.

El año pasado ( 1º Ed.Primaria) actuamos en dos obras de teatro, "The Gruffalo" and "Pretty Ritty".
Este año vamos a cantar una canción mientras hacemos un baile como actuación final de este curso (2º Ed.Primaria).
El título de la canción es -Summer Time-.

TRINITY QUESTIONS

We have prepared lists with potential Trinity questions for the students to practise with at home. There are five lists in total each containing ten questions. The students will take a different list home each afternoon and be tested the following day. They will be awarded stamps for answering correctly.




Hemos preparado unas listas con posibles preguntas de Trinity para que los alumnos practiquen en casa. Hay cinco listas en total, con diez preguntas cada una. Los alumnos se llevarán una lista diferente cada tarde y al día siguiente le haremos las preguntas correspondientes. Si contestan bien a las preguntas los alumnos hirán consiguiendo unos sellos como recompensa.

Listening Activities

The students have been given a booklet of photocopies taken from "Cambridge Starters Tests" containing several listening exercises that they will work through during class. the different voices used in the accompanying recording will help improve the students´oral comprehension skills. The students will complete one exercise a day in class.

Hemos entregado a los alumnos un librito con fotocopias de "Pruebas Cambridge", que contiene varios ejercicios para escuchar. Tarbajaremos con este librito en clase. Las diferentes voces que los alumnos escucharán en las grabaciones ayudarán a mejorar su comprensión oral en Lengua Inglesa. Los alumnos completarán un ejercicio al día en clase.

PEN FRIENDS

In order to practise the Trinity topics, each student is going to write a letter in English to a pen friend who studies in a different bilingual primary school in Madrid. It will be a very motivational activity for them because they will have to write a letter to a real receiver. We are looking forward to getting their letters soon!

Para practicar los temas del Trinity, los amlumnos van a escribir una carta en inglés a compañeros de 2º de Ed.Primaria de otro colegio bilingüe de la comunidad de Madrid. Será una actividad muy motivadora para ellos ya que tienen que escribir las cartas a destinatarios reales. ¡Estamos deseando recibir pronto sus cartas!
